Page 1 of u900 soul de branding help?

Hi i have just been given a samsung u900 and it was locked to orange so i had it unlocked and i wanted to have it de branded!
So was looked on net and come accross this method to do it

take battery out of phone
hold 9 down on phone and keep held
connect cable while still holding 9
connect battery still holding 9
power phone on while still holding 9

download mode will be apparent after this method

so tryed it and it has got a blue line going round the screen and download in a red bar across the middle.

Does any1 how long it takes to do it or does that mean it hasnt worked?

My guess is that it is waiting for you to transfer an generic firmware via USB.

yeah i found another website with a file which it didnt say on the other one and ive just done it but thanks
