Problems with the new Firefox Update

Sue Brown (Elite Donator) posted this on Sunday, 29th March 2009, 09:59

This morning, Firefox automatically updated. This then resulted in Adblock being disabled because it was no longer compatible.

Now I have had to shut FF down and use IE, because of the sheer number of pop up ads appearing, and interferring with what I`m trying to do.

IE is fine, so I`ve had to go there for now.

Anyone else having similar difficulties? Or know of another way to block the pop ups until Adblock produce a compatible update? >:(

Update to 3.08 has been fine on mine. :/ Adblock and other stuff all working OK.

Might be worth installing it from scratch?

AdBlock and Nuke Anything Enchanced also working here with the FF update.

Hm, curious. I did as suggested and uninstalled then did a fresh re-installation. All seems to be ok now.

Thanks for the answers. Not sure why it happened though.
