Not only that, but Shareconnector has been closed too, and another popular BT site that I use seems to be down at the mo, although I`m hoping thats only temporary. :(

Oh my God, Bear is driving! How can that be?

`fraid not Ben :( :( :(

Seems many many BT sites have closed :o
Suprnova is still open but that`s possibly because it operates via many mirrors??..

Seriously? :o :o :(

How do you know T******** isn`t a server problem - or is that just too coincedental considering what has happened? Not only was it a good site for the obvious reasons, but I liked the forum there too. :( They`d been predicting that something like this might happen, but I really didn`t think it would.

Do you know of any other good sites that are still operating?

This sounds like something that the police have planned really well; they`ve shut down all the major sites in one go practically. :(

I suppose that as long as there are release groups there will be files available though, but there`s no way I`m going back to mIRC. >:(

* Topic is `T____B___` site and tracker is Temporarily down, will be back up soon, please be patient.`

Also, that site is hosted by Nforce.nl, and that site is still running and as far as they know everything is ok. :/

Ok Ste, so far....

According to StormLord(Moderator trying to sort this all out), Redbeard(Owner/Admin/Creator/God of TB) has taken the site down for an unknown reason. However it`s NOT because of a raid, and NOT because of technical problems.

Sorry I didn`t PM, it is just that I`m not at home at the min and don`t have access to my e-mail so that I can reply. Anyway, back to the site...

If you ask me I`d hazard a guess that we won`t see it again. I wonder if the site owner has got scared after the numerous ed2k busts lately, perhaps assuming that BT sites would be next in line. I think their IRC channel closed, but then reopened, so that may be a little bit of good news. Also, if you ping their site it shows that the server is still active, which it wouldn`t have been if they`d been raided.

But in general, I`d say its not looking good. I feel sorry for those who had spent so long getting their ratio high! Mine was about 1.00 and I was a Power User, so it wasn`t too bad. Still, I`d hate to lose such a great site. :( :( :(

Current Update: :(

AT LAST!
I`ve got a chance to reply to some of these rumours and wild speculation!
(YES - this is going to be one of the Puppy`s long boring posts,
but if you don`t read it all, don`t bother replying - NO CRIB NOTES AVAILABLE)

Firstly, I have to say,
I am extremely dissapointed with the response from some of the members of the T* community.
Scare-mongering and spreading rumours is not the most helpful thing to do in a situation like this!
I know everyone is unhappy about it, but don`t burn your bridges with insults or by playing the blame game!

Secondly,
I am extremely delighted with the reponse form some of the members of the T* community.
Members like DeeJee, and Warlok, who are trying to keep us all together,
to get the correct information out. There are probably more that I don`t know about yet....
and all those working behind the scenes.... Thanks guys

OK lets get down to it.
A few facts:-
- I am extremely sad to report, that I have just found out that, T*, as we know it, is DEAD.
- The full reason why Rb choose to close down is still not yet known
- Rb was "on holiday" when the site went down, and is in no position to put it back up again,
or explain anything, until he gets back
- There was a Ddos attack - After the site went down!

One more fact:-
Nobody, REPEAT, nobody, except Redbeard knows what Redbeard is planning to do.

Keep watching t***********.org for a statement.
It`s the ONLY place to get the full facts
