Page 1 of Do I need to finalise a CD-RW with MP3s for the DMRE55

Hi,
Looking to pick brains again, sorry.

I just copied a stack of MP3 files onto a CD-RW.

Do I need to finalise the disk before my Panasonic DMR E55 will play them?

I would just try it, but I am at work at the moment and would like to know before I get home and the disk doesn`t work!

hi you shouldn`t need to finnalise it. i copy countless mp3 onto cdrw they play fine on my
hyundai 320a whithout finnalising i should give it a try first don`t worry it won`t do anything to your dvd or your machine ( i`ve tried different things with mine) and it still reads ordinary dvds and cds ect ;)

all your dvd player /recorder does to read the disk is shine a laser on it. no other part actually touches the disk.
