Sony multi region DVD

Can anyone tell me if they have problems with the dvd going out of sync between the picture and the sound, I can realine the sound by stopping the dvd and starting it again, but this is annoying. Any answers to this problem.

This is called lip sync and there is a mod from sony which cures this.
