Xbox Risks On 32" Widescreen?

Meusa (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Tuesday, 13th July 2004, 20:31

I am considering purchasing a Panasonic 32" widescreen but I am concerned about the using an Xbox console on the television, as I hear there are risks invloved with certain televisions.

TV Here - http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/453_115010.html

Can anyone explain this issue to me in more detail?

Thanks

I think its something to do with the bright non moving images on the HUD on games that can cause an inprint on the screen isnt it?

Only applies to Plasma and Rear Projection tellys.

In a lesser amount, to TFT/LCD telly`s, but unless you intend to put your XBox on pause, then go on holiday for a week leaving the TV switched on meantime <grin> then go buy yer Panny ;)
