Best and worst recordable DVD-R blanks. The ultimate list.
Hi
Would members like to list their favourite and least favourite DVD-R brands here? Good to bad in descending order, and maybe with a few critical comments if you want.
It would not only be useful for me, but it might be a handy resource for other visiting newbies looking for fast comparisons.
Maybe someone else could do a thread which covers other formats - or maybe just put them all here.
Cheers.

I have limited experience, but my findings are as follows.
Like - Panasonic`s own or TDK - faultless recording and finalizing :)
Hate - Swisstec - Absolute utter annoying waste of money >:(

I don`t know if you want to include DVD+R`s here as well as DVD-R`s but in my (limited) experience:
Bulkpaq 4x white topped DVD+R`s from www.blankdiscshop.co.uk get the thumbs up from me :D
Anything by Princo is a waste of time :(

I like Memorex or Verbatim personally, rarely produce a coaster with those (unless its by my own stupid fault).
Avoid Mirror in Poundland.

I`ve only ever used one brand in both my PC DVD writer and now my DVD recorder - Ritek G04 Printables - I`ve never had one coaster nor any playback problems with burnt discs. At under 50p each I think they`re tremendous value not to mention the fact that you can print quality `label` designs straight on to the discs with a compatible Epson printer (R200/300/800).
