DVD to CD and MP3

May not be strictly legal:

I have now created some CD`s of audio soundtracks from my Neil Young Concerts on DVD. Thus allowing me to listen to these in the Car and in MP3 format on my Scan.

I have copied the DVD into my PC in segments due to space restrictions, converted the DVD file by extracting the Audio and saving to WAV format to burn CDs. Once the CD has been burnt I have converted these into MP3.

This is very useful when wanting to play CD`s of music concerts originally on DVD when out and about (Digital Quality)

If you want to know how to do this then go to:
http://digital-digest.com/nickyguides/audio-extract.htm

I have now done this for:
Silver and Gold
Friends and Relatives both on region 1
and Year of the Horse on region 2

All work perfectly.

Does take a lot of time and effort but worth it. (copying, extracting, converting, editing out crowd in between songs, writing to CD, etc)

You can obviously do this the analogue way using leads, from the DVD to the PC.
