Page 1 of Surround sound question?

Hi, tonight i was watching the new Guy, amd as ive mentioned on a previous thread about prologic 2, the surrounds sounded a bit echoeie, do you think im set up right or just a lousy 5.1 film? equipment is yamaha RX-V630 and mission 77 speaker set,

Geezer, when you`re listening in DPL2, be sure to switch off the DSP settings as these can give unwanted reverb on the processing. It was fine for plain DPL, but with the newer technology and all the phase shifting going on, it`s not a good idea.

You shouldn`t be getting echo though, try looking at your delay settings as these may be wrong.

Ok ill give that a try, but dont think i am using any dsp modes though, dont know much about the delay settings though what should they be set at?
