Page 1 of IS THERE A REGION HACK FOR THE JVC XV-542?

I OWN A JVC DVD PLAYER XV-542, I HAVE CHECKED THE HACK CODES AND IT IS NOT LISTED...WOULD BE MOST GRATEFUL IF ANYONE HAS THIS HACK.

Check the model number ... it is probabily XV-s42 and in this case there is no hack ... it has to be chipped or reprogrammed by a chipper

I think I have the same model but from memory it is the JVC XV-S42.

How much would chipping it be and does it mean the warrenty becomes invalid.

We can reprogram the player using the compulink socket at the back and a special upgrade tool ... whether this voids your warranty is between you and JVC ... I wouldnt like to comment
