I would just like to post a message to thank DVD reviewer for the hack making the Phillips DVD machine region free. I own the Phillips DVD622 and had been wanting to make it region free for some time. I bought the required remote :- ONE FOR ALL 4 DIGITAL at a cost of £19.990 from Argos. Page 562 Cat No 534 / 0521. Followed The Instructions Given and It Worked

Need atleast the 4.

I bought the 3 trying to go cheap, but it didn`t work because it doesn`t have all the require digits! :-O So I bought the 4 which in the states they call the video expert and it has the DVD button on it. Magic is replaced by the "set" button. Hope this helps. Yes a friend of mine has used my remote to hack his player. Unfortunately, my player Philips 704 is a newer version and it didn`t work.
