HI, Try this
1. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control
2. Press the Clear button on your remote control
3. Press the 1 button on your remote control
4. Press the 3 button on your remote control
5. Press the 6 button on your remote control
6. Press the 9 button on your remote control
7. Press the 1 button on your remote control for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback
8. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control

It is the hack for the pacific 1002 but it worked for us.
We tried it because ASDA (part of Walmart group in UK) started selling these in place of the pacific but it looked and functioned pretty similar. The hack worked on our durabrand 1002

NEXTBASE SDV97-AC

HI, I have just purchased a NEXTBASE SDV97-AC twin screen tablet DVD player with DIVX facility.

This machine is locked to region 2 but I want to be able to make it region Free.

Does anyone know a hack to unlock the region coding.

I`m gutted. Have I really got a machine that has no hack to allow it to play multi region. If anyone has any info on how or where I can make this machine multiregion I would be extremely grateful.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone out there has a region hack for the Panasonic DMR E-20. I have been bought a region 1 DVD for Xmas and have found I can`t play it. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Bench DVD Player KH 5777 (could be 6777) Advertised By Lidl for £37.99

Does anyone have any info on the e bench KH 5777 (could be 6777 - the pic isn`t very clear) DVD player being advertised by Lidl Supermarkets. It was on sale via Lidl last year for £69.99 and they flew out (I was going to buy one then but missed out as stocks are limited). Maybe if someone out there was able to get one last year they could answer the following questions for me.

* Is it any good?
* Is it region hackable? if so does anyone have the hack (couldn`t find any info)
* Will it play movies straight from Mpg rather than convert to VCD?

This machine goes on sale in Lidl supermarkets on Monday 15th December for £37.99 so would make an ideal Xmas gift for my daughter.

Phillips Region Free Hack

I would just like to post a message to thank DVD reviewer for the hack making the Phillips DVD machine region free. I own the Phillips DVD622 and had been wanting to make it region free for some time. I bought the required remote :- ONE FOR ALL 4 DIGITAL at a cost of £19.990 from Argos. Page 562 Cat No 534 / 0521. Followed The Instructions Given and It Worked

The Hack Works. I Bought The Remote Yesterday (7 / 12 / 01 ) From Argos In Leeds Followed The Instructions Given In This Site. (They Are A Bit Tricky But Persist With It) And It Works Perfectly. I Can Now Play Both Region 1 & Region 2 On My Machine.
