Page 1 of Anyone know if this multi region code works for the Toshiba SD-240E

Hi folks. I have just joined the forum and was hoping you can help me out.

I have recently bought the Toshbia SD-240E and was wondering if there was a mutli region hack for this model? I have found 1:

1: open the tray
2: type 2403960
3: press enter to cycle to region 9
4: close the tray
5: turn the player off
6: turn it back on

Can anyone tell if they have tried this and if it has worked?

Yes this works

Purchased the SD240-e and added the hack this week. This now plays a dvd disc which wasn`t accepted before the hack, so a assume it will now play multi-region discs.

Hi Steve!

I`ve just bought a Toshiba SD241-e, any idea if the code is the same for this model?? What`s the difference anyway between an SD240 and an SD241??!!

Any info would be good as I got a load of US region 1 dvd`s for Christmas that don`t work, yet!!
