Page 1 of Matsui DVD 110

I have carried out a multi-region hack on my machine but it plays DVD from the US in black and white only, can antbody help??

What this usally means is that there is nothing wrong with the matsui , but your tv is not NTSC compatible.
In other words the tv can not properly accept the NTSC signal from the american disc. So the picture is black and white.
(NTSC is the signal used in the US ,in Europe we use PAL)

You may be able to get a converter so the picture turns back to colour, but the converters do not work with all tv`s.

i also have the same problem regarding black and white reigon ones i have a brand new matsui 28" digital widescreen tv and would have thought this would have done it do i need to switch to to ntsc on the player menu or something like that????

Hi the conection has be through scart sockets if
your tv has 2 of them try both as I found only one of mine plays back NTSC in colour
