Page 1 of thomson 3300 - hack isn`t working!!!

i`ve tried the hack on this site, but it only works up to the language selection, but then when i try the multi-region hack, nothing happens??!! Can anyone help???

You need to press 1 (or whatever) to select your language.

Wait for the Thomson logo screen to appear, THEN press Repeat... and so on. The hack will *only* work from the logo screen with no disc in the player.

That`s what I did, press 1 for english, but then when i press repeat, nothing happens, so i`ve tried putting the numbers in and the stop sign just comes up in the top right hand corner?!

Anyone got any ideas on this?????????

Hmm... a tricky one.

Nothing appears on the screen when you press REPEAT - that`s normal. However when you enter the correct five numbers you should get a number at the top left corner of the screen. You are entering the right numbers for the region you`re in, e.g. 29334 if it`s a R1 player and 38767 if it`s a R2 player? (Just checking!)

If so, all I can think of is that you have an older version of the Thomson firmware which doesn`t accept the hack. A firmware upgrade could be the answer - see my page at http://www.709firmware.fsnet.co.uk/ for details.
