Not yet. However, there is a menu you can access by pressing 2812 while the drive is out, and then pressing enter. I don`t know how myself, but there may be a way to do it via that.

does anyone have an alba 108 that can play vcd`s without the goto hack that would post the settings in this menu????

Using the 2812 hack on mine brings up the following menu.

DVD MK 3.3 System Setup
Firmware version Alba 108 ver. 1.4
Microcode Ver w-2410 02novo1/1644
Contry code 13 (presumably this is region free)
Op Proh On 1
Parental pswd 7890
Parental c.c. 8583

just triedthe menu on my alba 108 i changed the coutry code to 11 and put a vcd in and itnearly played just for a second then came up incorrect format not much iknow but it might give some clever bugger an idea

Doesn`t work on mine. Nor does 9,10 or 12. Why does anyone want to watch VCD/ SVCD anyway? The picture is crap and there are often chinese subtitles you can`t get rid of.

Found This On Another Site Put Vcd In Tray Close ,just before tray closes Press 1 On Remote Repeatly vcd Will Play Also You Can Press Goto repeatly & enter 00:01 & vcd Will Play It Works For Me........Enjoy Peeps

Thats the FBI warning. Don`t mess about with settings (other than the region code) we are trying to figure this out.
