Anyone noticed that Freeserve can`t spell?

The Freeserve purple banner ad on this site has Freeserve spelt "Freserve" - I think the fact that that ad`s been running for a while and I`ve only just noticed it shows how effective (!) banner ads are nowadays....

Nevermind their spelling, they seem to have forgotten the meaning of the word FREEserve.

Yes, seems mad to have had a massive advertising campaign at £12.99 and then put it up to £13.99.

I`m getting mine for £6.49 for 6 months as I was on the off-peak package for £4.99 until they decided to up it to £8.99. Trouble is now I`m on Anytime it takes 10 - 20 dial attempts to get through. I doubt i`ll be with Freeserve after my 6 months are up. Any ISP recommendations ?

Have a look on http://www.ispreview.co.uk - fantastic resuorce of reviews, forums, etc.
I`ve just moved from v21 because they got heavy about weekly useage, and the amount I use was going to cost more.
Now moved to fast24 on the alltime package (need it because I work from home so am on at least 8 hours a day) - was on all day yesterday with no problem, no cut off. Mind, I`m using an ISDN router, so wouldn`t necessarily notice if I`d needed a retry to reconnect - I don`t think so, though, as I didn`t lose my pcAnywhere connection all day. Only pain is they take a few days to set you up.

Troubles with Freeserve? I moved to Freeserve Anytime at the beginning of March and haven`t had a single engaged tone, it always connects first time.

BT Openworld is the worst ISP for anytime dialup I`ve ever had the misfortune to use, 10-20 times before you`d get a connection, and even then it might drop. A real pain.
