Leicester Comedy Festival.

It`s that time of year where I don`t have enough money to see everything I want to see. So far I have booked, Jon Richardson, Sarah Millican, David O`Doherty and Tim Minchin. There are a few others that I may just turn up on the night for. I love the LCF.

It`s ace. If I lived on Leicester I`d probably be out every night and bankrupt!

Off to see Mark Steel @ Loughborough Town Hall, meant to get tickets for Stephen K. Amos but they sold out fast.

If Tim Minchin wasn`t the same night as Steel, would definitely have gone to that.

Probably going to see David O`Doherty in Derby next month.

Would also recommend:-

Mark Watson (again catching him in Derby in a few weeks)
Mitch Benn
Henning Wehn
Shazia Mirza
Robin Ince
Isy Suttie
Rhod Gilbert
Mark Thomas
Miles Jupp
Andy Parsons
Fred MacAulay
Jo Caulfield
Ed Byrne
Josie Long

Saw Stephen K Amos a couple of years ago. Brilliant. Would have gone to Mark Thomas but it clashes with something that I am going to. After Millican we are going to have a pootle down the road to see John Robins.

Last year on a sunday I managed to do about 11 hours of comedy in the one day with just 5 mins walk here and there.

Sorry, but are you mocking the team that is 10 points clear in their league?

Here is the site link.

Of course! :D
Haven`t all the other clubs in that league been docked 20 points or so anyway?

Round here there are signs to "Madejski Stadium Complex"...apparently it`s a medical condition a bit like Napoleon Complex but you think you own a good football club...

See, combining football and humour...kind of...still being a Spurs fan I have to laugh a lot to hide the pain.

Sorry didn`t mean to hijack the thread. I`ll be off now.

As we all know, you may own the start of the thread, but not where it ends up.

Also, I believe I turned down tickets for Ed Byrne on Sunday 15th as it clashes with pub poker night

Fool. I had seen the Bruce collective was on.

The secret gig sounds interesting.

Could be ace, or it could be Gary Wilmot.
