Eastenders Omnibus on Christmas day???

socks_uk (Competent) posted this on Monday, 19th December 2005, 10:04

I can`t seem to find this week`s Omnibus episode in the TV guide.

I work 3 evenings a week so usually record it on Sundays and watch it when I have time (still got 3 weeks to catch up on!).

Am I going to have to record each evening episode this week or can someone spot it in the TV guide?

Thanks all,
Jill

Good grief
Can`t they give that awful depressing soap a rest just for once.......do they really have to subject us to it on Christmas Day as well?

It`s not on Christmas Day, it`s on Boxing Day instead.

Panic not, it`s on on Boxing Day at 12:55.

The oddest thing to me was that the Christmas episode isn`t on while 9pm! Usually we have two episodes on Christmas Day don`t we?

One of the happiest days of the year and people want to depress themselves watching this dirge... :/
It`s the complete lack of realism and general air of hopelessness that gets me.
No-one has any money (despite working or even owning business)
Their homes are in desperate need of decorating or modernising.
No-one has a nice car.
They all drink during the day.

The same sort of things can be thrown at Coronation st.,but at least it injects some humour from time to time.

Oh Alfie!

I`ll be thankful for small mercies. The mrs doesnt seem particularly fond of the teutonic

SPOILER:
Dennis

so i dont think she will be particularly bothered. To be honest though, im hoping to feed her a few baileys and not remind her its on.
