Early Doors related question

dvdloversortof (Competent) posted this on Saturday, 1st October 2005, 13:13

On this weeks episode they had a song playing and I wondered if anyone knew what song it was? I can`t remember much of the lyrics but it was an accoustic song and the lyrics mentioned `Steve MqQueen` and `Peggy Sue`, I`ve tried searching Google but nothing.

Thnx

It`s "The Great Escape" by I Am Kloot.

They`ve done a couple of albums, but this song has never been released commercially...

:B :D

Was there any ever explaination as to why Mel split up with her first BF in series one and was replaced by someone else in series 2?

There was some mention of it early in series two - he was seeing someone else behind her back apparently. Craig Cash and Duffy were talking about him in the toilets and said it was "shameless" (a clever reference because the actor was off filming "Shameless"!! 8) ).

I`ve got to say, I think "Early Doors" is one of the best comedies ever - fantastic stuff! :D
