Liqueur laws in Canada are bloody tight, you may have difficulty in achieving this.

Liqueur shops (LSBO) sell wine, spirits & a small selection of beers inc Newcastle Brown, but beers (& a damn fine choice) only is usually the province of Beer Stores (& they shut at 8 - At least in Ontario).

Zero of anything like that in supermarkets that I know off (beleive me I looked).

I quite like the Helpdesk people in a benevolent (as opposed to malevolent) way as they do some valuable work in preventing us being inundated by every halfwit who can work a phone.

Don`t forget that the legal drinking age in Canada and USA is 21. Not sure how old the recipient is but some proof of age may be needed for accepting the gift if it`s alcoholic. This may be the reason you are finding it difficult to find a mail order supplier.

I think you can order cards to be delivered through `Hallmark`.

Actually the legal drinking age in Canada is 19 - as I used to regularly fly up there from New York State to partake.

Why don`t you send him/her a DVD from DVDBoxoffice - I know they are located in Canada.

Anyone can buy a bottle of Southern Comfort.......

Sorry, My mistake... My Canadian husband is still in bed (still on Canadian time after 3 years of living in uk! He loves his sleep!!)
I`m now trying to remember what he said is illegal before 21. I`ll go wake him up and maybe he`ll show me. ;)
