Mods - sorry if this is in the wrong forum - wasnt sure which to put it in so feel free to move it.

Anyway - I queued up for two hours in Watford this morning to find er.....nothing.

I went back to Cambridge (where i live - i jst happened to be in London this weekend) and found er.....nothing.

Was just wondering if any of you lot managed to pick up anything decent???

The Marantz SR4300 which i REALLY wanted was gone!

I set my alarm to go off at 9.00am so i could get to the Reading store bright and early to grab me a Tosh SD520E DVD player at a bargian 120 quid.

Unfortunately, i also went out on the p*** last night, got very hammered, slept through my alarm and woke up at half ten with a stinking headache. So i didnt get anything either :-(

Only got two things a teac v-377 tape deck for £20 if it`s any good and a sharp md for £49.99 but forgot to buy any minidiscs for it .
The list that was printed in what hi-fi had nothing in the edinburgh store and the list they had wasn`t that great to get there at 8:00 am and wait does anyone got any reviews on the tape or md

I grabbed a great bagain on Boxing Day last year - Kef Cresta 1 speakers for 39.99!!

Definitely the best pair of boxes I`ve had - and the bass goes down lower than the Mission 700s. The Kef`s go down to 50Hz while the Missions only drop to 65Hz - and those extra 15Hz can make a difference!!
