Who do you mean by that?

Possibly because they`re sad and deluded with no life to call their own and who care nothing about anyone else apart from themselves, and think the whole country is going downhill because of Mr J. F. O`Reigner and his rotten scams. Perhaps they use the war as an excuse to group together (in a safe way of course, as they`re too cowardly to go anywhere near the heat themselves of course) and mouth off in a relatively anonymous manner against the aforementioned gentleman.....or that could be the wine talking of course. Nice French chablis.....anyone want some? :-)

I`m really very interested in the bizarre phenomenon of the inarticulate rubes who become extremely vocal at times like these and seem to derive great pleasure from hearing about large numbers of foreign people dying. As I said, why do scum ENJOY war?

Fair enough. Let me just say, as you may be aware I do support this war and hope that good can come of it but I wish to state right now that I certainly am not `enjoying` this conflict. I`m finding it quite disturbing. I don`t like any conflict and would have prefered that this had been averted. Like I say though, I believe there is a greater good and I hope that proves to be the case. I don`t know if you are referring to posters on these forums, but there doesn`t seem to be many, if any on here who are enjoying this war. I don`t know why unwashed scum enjoy war in answer to your question. Probably the same reason perverts like underage sex or thieves like burgling houses

I`m afraid so, Dwight. Not a feeling I enjoy having, but one which seems to come easily when faced with such agressive arrogance and almost psycopathic Nationalism in its worst form. (of course, the `argument` of me not being able to say these things in Iraq is bound to arise yet again - but those who use it can`t see how illogical they`re being).

Sensible discussion of the war is great! In fact, I`m sure that even Dubya relies upon a great many people, like yourself, who actually can tell the difference between difficult words like "hostile" and "hostage". My problem is with the people (and I think we all know at least one or two of them) who take delight in seeing (demonised) Others die in great pain
