Page 1 of Footballers` Wives - Thickies` Delight!

Anyone else noticed that the makers of this appalling bilge have dropped the apostrophe from the programme`s title? No doubt, the sort of people who enjoy such soul-destroying drivel would complain that Footballers` should be Footballer`s, so ITV dropped the apostrophe in order to avert the deluge of poorly-written letters from confused scumbags.

I really like the show BUT one of the main reasons I like it is the tongue in cheek acting and exaggerated story lines.

I think it is deliberate and is a pi** take of itself and other poor similar dramas (which are not a joke). It is also having a laugh at football couples like Posh and Becks and their mad lifestyles.

If anyone saw season 1 when Jason Turner was asked if he could act he replied "Oh yeah... I can act alright" - the shows laughing at itself really.

I just don`t take it seriously and get my fair share of intellectual shows to keep my brain alive.

Apparently, the bleachy-haired, silicone-enhanced, orange-skinned, 50-a-day gruff-voiced slag out of Footballers` Wives (not Gillian Taylforth, the other one) is only in her 20s. I thought that this foul harridan was at least 40!

In her 20`s! Thats as bizzarre as one of the stories in the excellent series.

She`s had a hard life.

A hard life of excessive smoking and tanning, that is. Oh well, perhaps they`re all so hard that they`re not scared of cancer on her Kappaville estate.

Dwight, if it`s so bad why do you watch it?
