Who believes in the afterlife?....or ghosts and the paranormal

I`ve been watching Colin Fry on UK Living (he looks like Leeds keeper Nigel Martyn and sounds frighteningly like Jonathon King).

I don`t know whether he`s a blag merchant or not. Has anyone ever been to a medium or psychic? I`ve never seen a ghost but I always hear through a friend of a friend etc about things which scare me s***less!

I know several ppl. that believe in this sort of thing, one girl says that she sees her grandma on the end of her bed, her boyfriend isnt amused thinks she may be commenting on his technique. Dont believe any of it at all to be honest but each to their own

well...

If there was an afterlife, Harry Houdini would have told us of it.

If paranormal powers were real, James Randi would be $1,000,000 the poorer.

There are unexplained phenomena - but that`s all they are - unexplained.

Nope. I don`t believe in UFO`s either - Why come billions of miles to to look out of a spaceship window for 10 minutes? Or scare some poor idiots witless?

No afterlife. No Ghosts. Nothing.

I can honestly say there more to it than meets the eye.

9 years ago my parents bought on old victorian house built sometime around 1790. There was some internal damage to the old building so I took a camcorder around the place so we could all look back at the improvements that had been made to the place over the years. I had been filming for about 10 minutes when I had this odd feeling in one of the bedrooms that something wasnt quite right shortly followed by hairs on the back of me neck standing on end, that was enought for me and I vacated quickly.

On play back of the vid the first thing that I noticed was some audible voices chatting and larking around or so it seemed. The thing that made me s*** was when I filmed the last bedroom in the middle of the room was a teenage girl hanging from one of the beems with 3 adults crying around her, Just as I left the room I could hear quite clearly someone saying "Please Help us" To this day I havent been back into that room!!!!!

Can you define `afterlife`? As a Hindu, I believe in reincarnation, and until I progress up the spiritual ladder, I`m going to be stuck in many more lives to come after I pass from this one. I`m gonna have one big DVD collection by then... :-)

Any others here believe in reincarnation?

As long as I don`t come back as a wasp I`ll be happy!

well, without getting the thread too much in the thick of it, you can`t come back as a wasp, only another human (either gender). You can`t be `demoted` to an animal.
