Offline System Update XBOX One

Xeno73 (Harmless) posted this on Friday, 19th August 2016, 13:41

Hi I am getting the green screen on my xbox one and it isn't loading. I have tried the hard reset and still no joy. I know there is an offline system update for it but it requires windows and a usb and everyone I know (surprisingly) uses a mac. I can't do the update without it. Can anybody help me with this.
Thanks David

The Mac, by default, can't read/write the NTFS file system that the Xbone needs but you can use a 3rd party App like Tuxera that'll do just that for you.

Google - write/format NTFS on Mac

Another alternative is to run Windows in VirtualBox...

Have installed windows with virtual box. Now to find a usb to fix the Xbox. I have about 10 of them kicking about but can't find one of them lol.
