Page 1 of So this week I`ve gone and bought myself an Xbox 360...

...I`ve got it connected up to my LG 42" HD TV, and it looks wonderful. Fight Night Round 3 is f***ing stunning. GRAW is pretty good too. Have to say I`m very impressed, and hooking it up to a Windows Media Connect streaming server from PC was a breeze. Shame I can`t send through DiVX video too!

All in all, I am very happy. :D

So, anyway...

What other `wow factor` games are there at the minute on the Xbox 360, that will be good to impress my mates with? FNR3 will be pretty tough to beat!

Also, what other games should I be considering buying now?

PGR3 looks pretty damn good in hi-def mode. I haven`t been able to buy many games for mine yet but have tried several. DOA is nice but not sure what the longevity would be like on the game.

Don`t forget to check out the xbox live marketplace - tons of free demos there (including PGR3 and the soon to be released Moto GP `06)

Call of Duty is funkintabulous !

If you have any interest at all in RPG`s Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion is the one to get.It has beautiful graphics....with lush forests complete with swaying branches,deer etc.
In my opinion definitely the one to impress your mates with.

My nephew loves Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, even my sister was amazed by the graphics.

I particularly liked the way my 360 died today. Freezing games is just what I wanted when I bought the console.

Take it back from whence it came then. Or get Microsoft to send you a box so that you can send it back to them for repair.

I tried to take it back to Comet and they did their usual of denying responsibility and telling me to contact MS. Microsoft are sending out the necessary guff to get console returned to them and the whole process could take 2 weeks!!!!!!!
I wonder if I will get a refund for the 2 weeks of Xbox live im missing out on? I doubt it somehow
