Page 1 of Xbox 360 Crashed 3 Red Lights Showing Help Needed Urgently if possible

Hi,

Can anyone offer a solution with my Xbox 360 problem?

I was downloading the Tomb Raider Demo from Xbox Live, I went off to watch the footie & when I returned just over an hour later my Xbox had Crashed.

I tried switching it on & off, but allI get now is 3 Red Lights.

I`ve been through a troubleshooting guide I found on Xbox.com but I have had no luck!

I was going to take it back to Game tomorrow but I can`t find my receipt anywhere, & I was wondering where I stand on my consumer rights of having it changed?

Also will microsoft repair it without the receipt?

I did register my console the day I received it if that helps?

Any help will be gratefully received.

Otherwise a google for "Xbox 3 red lights" turns up loads of results.

Microsoft will collect it without your reciept. But they may as in my case send you somebody elses broken one that has a pubic hair attatched to it. They didn`t repair mine just sent me one that didn`t work at all. I`m on my fourth 360 now.
