Wanting to order Resident Evil 4 from Lik-sang.com, but if I do am I likely to get hit by customs? :/

Probably.I Ordered two Gameboy flashcards for 130 pounds each and was stung to the tune of 60 quid by customs.

More than likely mate. It seems more and more places are becoming uncustoms friendly, best bet is to find someone/somewhere in the UK/Europe that is going to be stocking the game and order it from them.
Personally I am getting it shipped over from the US by a friend, he is sending it as a Gift so no worries about customs and I got Action Replay Max from Game for just under £10 yesterday so I am all ready for the games arrival next week.

Do you know of any places in the UK that might be stocking it? Its not out her til March. :(

Also, there`s a chance that I might not get caught isn`t there?

Hi,
I ordered a Nintendo DS from Lik-Sang before Christmas and it got through without customs getting hold of it. I`ve since got a DS game from them again it got through without charge, suppose it`s just luck.

Hope your lucky if you order from them!

ps. If its just a game customs would only charge a couple of quid, wouldn`t they?

I`m not sure. Does it depend on what the item is on what they charge? I think I got charged customs for a game a couple of years back, and that was only a fiver.

I have never been charged when ordering a game from lik-sang, the only time i have been charged was when i ordered my GC and PS2.

I ordered 4 GC games last month, and all were recieved without a charge, also ordered a DS with 2 games, 1 PS2 game and Famitsu magazine, which made it through customs.

Its just your luck i think.

The import stores over here will have it in on the day of release, but you will probably need to pay about £15-£20 more than lik-sang.

I will probably pick it up from here......C A Games

What delivery method did you use skirpy, when getting those items? And how long do they take generally?

I always used EMS.....only 2-3 days delivery, even from Japan.

But on my last order from Lik-Sang, i used DHL.....£15 it cost me and took 4-5 days to get to me, but no custom charge......my mate ordered a DS last week also with Lik-Sang, delivered with DHL and never got a custom charge.

EMS delivery is usually Hong Kong/JPN flying to UK and is the quickest, but DHL done a couple of deliveries in HK then flew to Germany, then Brussels, then Midlands, then Edinburgh and eventually Glasgow where i got it soon after.

But the package was in superb condition and no charge.....so i was happy.

Maybe it took longer because of the Christmas period.
