Page 1 of POLL: How many times have you seen your favorite movie?

I couldn`t possibly say what film it is out of shear embarrassment, but it was made in 1987 & is really cheesy. (DD)

I have lost count how many times I have watched it & I have 3 different editions on DVD.

I only like it for the music (Honest)!!

Gawd, I`ve seen loads of my favourite films more than 10 times! If I had to pick one I`d seen the most....probably Raiders of the lost Ark. But there`s Superman, Star Wars, LOTR, etc.

I`ve also seen Young Frankenstein more times than I care to remember. Gene Wilder is still my hero.

Well, I know for a fact I`ve seen the Original Star Wars Trilogy a ridiculous amount of times (at least 200 times, probably a lot more). Ok, I may only watch them once or twice a year now, but back when I was but an innocent child, there was a period where i watched one a day after coming home from school. I was obsessed with Star Wars. Then in 1997 the SE came out (the changes didn`t hinder my enthusiasm) and I went nuts for Star Wars again). Then the prequels came out and I went all nuts again (remember, I like the prequels ;) ).

So yeah, I`m a bit sad really... :D :p

I have no idea how many times I have seen The Exorcist but it must be around the 100 mark.

Pirates of the Caribean, although not my over all favourite film, it`s one that i love and have watched every night for about 2 years. I`m was onto my 3rd 2disc edition when they brought the set with the lost disc out.

As soon as i`m in bed the dvd player is on and playing. Granted sometimes i only get about halfway through before i fall asleep but up to now i`ve felt no real need to put something different on.

Cheesily, Close Encounters is my fave film.

but I tend to watch all the movies I buy many times. Cos thats what I buy them for.

As a family, we regularly run Pirates Of The Caribbean as well. We have a core of movies which includes Monte Carlo Or Bust, the Brabourne/Goodwin Agatha Christies (Orient Express, Death On The NIle, Evil Under The Sun), the Margaret Rutherford Marples and a handful of others that we put on if we can`t make a decision what to watch.

We also have a core of tv shows - Jeeves and Wooster, Ghosts Of Motley Hall and The Persuaders.

Eclectic mix, eh?
