MUMMY AND JURASSIC R1 OR R2 ????

The mummy seems to be a 2 disk version on the r2 but only a single disk on r1 the features also seem to differ slightly,

Also jurassic 3 i have seen a post on this sight asking the diffrence between r1 and r2 but have not seen any info on an r2 release date.

JP/// has no r2 release set as of yet. However, it is apparently only a single disc containing 10 hours of stuff (not including the film in DD.5.1 and DTS 5.1!) so I wonder how the UK release would manage that... definately a 2 disc me thinks...

also, the R1 comes with a mail in promotion to recieve a slipcase for all three films and an additional bonus disc of features... whether we get this offer over here remains to be seen

from what i`ve read about the mummy returns i can`t see any differences in the features. the only difference i can see is the R2 is a 2-disc set. i expect more features to be announced for the R2....this is annoying because i`m receiving the R1 release any day now.

Not neccessarily... for example, the recent release of Silence of the lambs on both sides of the Atlantic is a case in point: R2 was a 2 disc set, R1 was 1 disc... this was not because of any missing extras on the R1, it was simply because the R1 didn`t need all the subtitles and extra languages that R2 has...

Its quite likely that the Mummy Returns (and JP///) will be 2 disc sets on R2 for this reason...
