Page 1 of Best price for Planet of the Apes (2001)?

I have seen at dvdboxoffice that this is released in November at a price of £16 and pennies, has anybody seen this cheaper anywhere, Play 247 don`t seen to have it up as yet.

I know this doesn`t help, but I think this film is not worth buying at any price. although the film is in DTS .Try dvdexpress.com $20.24 = £13.79 plus post. Also dvdimport $21.76 = £14.83 and no postage charge if you choose Canada Post.

I haven`t seen it actually, I`ve only been to the cinema once since I bought my player, now I just order them on dvd and take the same risk with a film that you do at the flicks. Is it really that bad?

It wasn`t `really that bad`, but for me it didn`t live up to expectations. I saw it in New York when it opened & it was massively over-hyped over there, so it was a bit of a let down.
Incidentally, all the reviews in the US said it was a great film. When I got back here, after a couple of weeks our critics got hold of it & panned it.
It certainly wasn`t a classic, but that`s hardly surpising with Marky Mark playing the lead!
