Lucky Number Slevin

Anyone seen this yet? What did you think?

I saw it last night, expecting it to be ok but not great from the trailer, but I loved it, kept me hooked from start to finish. Very clever plot and script with lots of twists and turns along the way and a great cast too. Don`t really know why it was an 18 though, thought it could have passed as a 15.

Highly recommended by me, best film I`ve seen since A History Of Violence

Yeah I have to agree as well as it is one of the best films I have seen this year. I wasnt expecting much after reading a terrible review in Empire but I was very surprised as it is really good and well worth going to see!

Thought it was very slick and entertaining, only real problem was that towards the end where they spent a lot of screen time EXPLAINING EVERYTHING, despite the fact that we`re shown all this (in great length) AT THE BEGINNING!!! Clearly shows there is a serious underestimation of the audience`s intelligence or a lack of confidence in the narrative skills of the filmmakers.

But still, good fun to be had for 100 minutes or so and not anywhere near as bad as I read.

Watched this Saturday & it has to have been the best film i have seen in a long time, easily best this year, probably from last year. Maybe of all of the 2000`s.
Everyone in it was great, I fell in love with Lucy Liu`s character & i thought Bruce Willis was really kool. They were all good, even Kinsley (with his slightly odd accent).
The only gripe i have is there was one twist to many at the very end. But the rest was brilliant.
I`ve also never heard a cinema all make the same noise in unison. SPOILER:
The bit were you find out Stanley Tucci shot his mum
99% of the cinema literally gasped aloud at it, so clever!
9/10

You say pyscho like its a bad thing
