Page 1 of Alien vs Predator......rubbish! (no spoilers)

Saw this last night, starts off ok but turns into absolutely predictable cheesy s***e second half. Predator is made to look a total fanny. AVOID!

Really dissapointed, this could have been great. :(

Just been having this discussion with a friend. He thought it to be brilliant, I believe it to be a massive pile of excrement. Wussy Predator...it`s an insult.

It`d Anderson, he`s a f***ing nuisance, he manages to drain every last drop of potential out of the projects he touches. Such a wasted chance. >:(

I thought it was alright but will wait for the special unrated edition were hopefully they will include all the blood/gore that should have been in the cinema version

Blood/Gore would be nice but I am more interested in the 30 or so mintues of missing footage which Anderson says was cut, whatever happened to the 1904 whaling station part of the movie, it was filmed and even appeared in one of the making of videos but no trace of it is in the movie and if the book is anything to go by it is a pretty goring scene.

It could have been good...it was very average to be honest. It didnt do justice to either Predator or Alien films at all. It played like an ITV pre watershed TV version of an 18 rated film. I got the impression there was a great film in there fighting to get out but being held back by its 12A rating...shame realy

How come the Aliens went from eggs to face huggers to full sized aliens in what seemed like 5 minutes? it didnt make any sense..chestbursters that didnt burst thru chests...Predators that lacked any real venom (but had gained a couple of feet in height)

It`s a 12A? That`s really sad. How can they make this type of film good without proper blood and guts?

Its not a 12A, its been rated 15 in the UK

I thought it was Paul W.S. Anderson that cut the good bits out but it was the studio tying to make an extra buck and the fact that they only had 3 weeks to cut them show in the film.
