advertised as having dts-es the copy i`ve got is canadian and only has the 5.1ex does it actually come with dts-es on the yank version?

Mine has just been shipped from there.
I will be miffed` if there`s no DTS-ES soundtrack as that is part of the reason I wanted it !!

think i`m gonna stick with movietyme unless playusa get there advertising right!

Could you just try the disc, sometimes there is a DTS soundtrack but it doesn`t mention it on the case ??!! >:(

fraid not mate def has no dts soundtrack the dd ex is great though but will be looking to get the yank 1 in the future

Got the Region 1 version, and the DTS soundtrack is great!

Nothing to do with the sound track but when this was released back in 87 it was seen as total comic sci fi and Arnie doing his thing.

Am I on my own in thinking that as the years have gone by this is getting perilously close to a networkable format.

I`ve just received the R1 special edition from Play USA, its the Canadian version. The box makes no mention of a DTS soundtrack, neither does the menu when the disc is inserted. However after selecting Dolby Digital 5.1 and sitting back to enjoy what I consider to be a criminally underrated film, my Yamaha amp switched to DTS Matrix 6.1 mode!!!

Very puzzling, but sounds great whatever format it is

thats strange cos my 1 is 5.1ex and def has no dts soundtrack ah well i don`t care as i flogged my 1 on and have an american version turning up in a couple of days!!!
