I`m not neccesarily doubting what you say, but usually with Australian sites free shipping only applies to the Aus mainland, unless, of course, things have changed.

Things have not changed - devoted really are NOT doing free international shipping on selected items. BUT they are doing subsidised shipping on the selected items. You pay the GST and they include the cheapest shipping method in the price.But you can pay the difference and upgrade to a tought bag etc.
I have ordered using the cheapest option (+20cents for the sleeve) in the past and the DVDs have arrived in perfect condition.

Still a pretty good deal for cheaper DVDs - the GST comes out to less than the cheapest shipping method.
