Spotted in WHSmith in Ilford, Essex- `The Exchange` shopping mall @£19.99

Saw `bout 6 copies in a free-standing rack by the rearmost checkout.
Generally ignored by the DVD-buying Christmas shopping crowd.

Could be the re-issue - dunno really -but I haven`t seen it on any of the popular buy-sites.

Not exactly cheap, but if ebay is anything to go by, a bargain!

Personally, Although I like AP, £19.99 is far too much for a disk.
Think I`ll wait for the re-issue.

To be fair, it`s due for a New Year re-release anyway, so you shouldn`t have too long to wait for it.

And I won`t be cashing in on my good fortune either :-)

There must have been some problem with the disc or something. Its really weird for them to withdraw the disc. I`ll go and have a look in my Smiths see if they have them. Though its probably wiser to see if they re-release it.

But £19.99 is very tempting.

The Beeb had to withdraw it from sale due to `Copyright problems`
Most of us think that they had problems with the original music played on AP`s radio show - but auntie didn`t say what the problems were exactly. As a result, the title was withdrawn from sale (i.e. shops were supposed to remove it from their stores & return). They aren`t supposed to sell off any remaining stock. The Beeb said they would re-release it as an `enhanced version`, whatever that means. Think someone in the vast organisation that is WHS has flamingo-ed up again.

There were some still on sale in WHS Lister Gate Nottingham recently (I posted in the Software Forum but no-one replied.....) Don`t know if they`re still on the shelves.
