Sounds like a good price for 3.5" with Sirf3. Can you post make & model so we can find more info?

Does it have the SirfStar3 reciever? The Evesham web site says it has a Centrality receiver.

Does this Sat Nav allow you to enter your home detials, if so I would avoid doing this as if its stolen, thieves will know where you live and your house may be burgled

From the Evesham site:-
Quote:

After the 6 month free period you may subscribe for 12 Months updates with a one off fee of £30.

Two questions

Q1/. Is the speed camera facility something that disables/switches off after the 6 month free period; or does it continue to function based on the latest camera position at the end of your 6 month subscription period if you choose not to pay the extra £30?

Q2/. What do they mean by a "one off fee of £30" .
To me a one off fee means no further costs for life. Thus every 12 month months you get an update for your one off fee of £30.
But the way it is written could equally be interpreted like an annual subscription of £30pa.

Can someone shed some light on this please. Thanks !

If you don`t pay the £30 subscription you can still use the speed camera detector based on the positions recorded the last time you updated.

£30 gives you 12 months of updates - e.g. update as many times as you want in 12 months for one £30 fee.
