Venturer PVS 1223 portable DVD player Argos £39.99

I`ve got one of these on reserve at my local Argos (533/5952) but before I go and buy it can anyone tell me if you can hook it up to a normal TV too?

I was going to buy the cheap Duraband (mini sized) DVD player at around £22 from ASDA for the bedroom but maybe the portable would be more useful.

How tiny and clear is the picture? Thanks,

Jill

Hi, im pretty certain this can be hooked up to a tv for video as it says:

"Video out socket."

You can also see that it has that yellow hole on the side and so would be fairly simple to do.

HOWEVER!!!!!

In order to get sound, you would need to use a cable to take the stereo sound from the headphone socket to the tv.

The screen looks pretty tidgy too, lol.

I fink i would do with the small player with no screen you were talking about.

I got the actual portable player (with the screen) and I would for the price difference go for the one with the screen. Not that difficult to connect, screen is not really that small, quite watchable, give you more options on how to watch the movie, took it to Birmingham and watch "HITCH" whilst there, And Brotherhood in the office when it was dead quiet one day. Best of all if ever have a powercut can use it on its battery to pass the boredom ;-D

Bought one of these little players - am really pleased with it. You can hook it up to your tv with the audio/video cables. Ideal for holidays and travel. Picture is really clear and overall I think its an ideal second dvd to keep around the house. Should be ideal during the summer to take into the garden. Very durable little player and not a bad price. I think stock will be diminished soon. :)
