New Harry Potter Book £4.99 at Kwik Save

Kwik Save will be selling the new HP book as from tomorrow (Sat) for £4.99. Only one book per customer is allowed and they will only be selling to under 15`s before 10am. The latter is apparently to let the kids have the first buying opportunity. This price is the lowest in the market place so I guess they will be busy.

I rang my local one earlier, and they basically said if you weren`t there when the doors opened, you were unlikely to get a copy. Shame, or I`d be down there like a shot.

I doubt anyone has read much past the first chapter at this time of night.

But the important prices from the local 24 hrs shops:

Asda is £7.96

Tesco exra £7.97

Now if only I could keep my eyes open.........

There is an all night "read in" at Waterstones, (i think), so someone will be "speed reading" and will claim to have read it by morning. How long will it take to read it?

How long will it take to read it?

in one go, & to "properly" take in all the detail (which most speed readers don`t do)

i reckon 6hrs, just over 600 pages.
i`ve got through 140 pages in just under 2hrs, bearing in mind i`m knackered & wanted my bed even before i started.
