Just found this on the Netto site. A Denver DVD Recorder for those that want something cheap and cheerful. Never heard of the make but will investigate further.

That`s exactly what I`ve been looking for DVD re-writer that`s 5.1 with radio/tuner and multi-region (preferably in silver!) now problem is how to get one - none near east london :/ and plays VCDs too.

Anyone know about deliveries/charges?

I doubt Netto do a delivery service! Have you got a friend or relative who lives near a Netto? If so, get them to get one for you but they`ll need to be there pretty bloody early to have any chance of getting one. They`ll all be snapped up in no time.

From memory , there used to be one in the Bethnal Green / Hackney area , but it doesn`t seem to be on the store list anymore. There is , however , a store in Clapton Common , between Clapton and Stamford Hill. If you don`t have your own transport , it`s gotta be worth a bus pass and a couple of hours on London`s finest :/ buses.

Woolies have something similar in at the moment for £179

The branch in Stamford Hill is only 0.7miles ( just stepped it out ;) ) from Seven Sisters tube station - according to Multimap (postcode is E5 9AG). Should I send the chariot round to pick you up ? 8)

been to my local netto`s in manchester

they go on sale next thursday at £169.00 each shop will only be getting a few they said first come first served.

i live 100 yards from nettos do all my shopping there mainly for wine..would be happy to get player for anyone that wants within kent south london area. will be able to get as my bird works there....(no discount)lmk ssorreklaw[at]moc.liamtoh

will buy a few on credit card so will be able to return for wasters.
