Ridiculously Cheap Beatles DVD

The Real Eggman (Harmless) posted this on Saturday, 15th March 2003, 19:15

Just ordered the region 0 PAL version of `Magical Mystery Tour` (not available in the UK on DVD) from www.ezydvd.com.au for, wait for it, £5.43 including postage.

Don`t know how long it`ll take to come, but at that price I`m willing to wait!

Got this DVD a few months back. picture quality is no better than VHS but it is THE BEATLES so its worth getting. Wait in vain for "Help" "Let it Be" and "Shea Stadium"

It`s truly awful quality for a DVD to be honest.

I`m looking forward to when CDWOW ship their stock of Anthology - a bargain @ £32.99 ;)

The quality is no better than a VHS because it is a copy of the VHS. For some reason the copyright for this film wasn`t renewed, so someone got out this DVD quickly and cheaply before anyone could do anything.
"Help" and others should be out possibly Sept. This is info from the man who runs the Beatles shop in Liverpool. As well as buying M.M.T, I bought "A Hard Days Night" for £20, to find that now Asda do it for £12.99.

You know that fella who works in the Beatles shop? Well is he the tubby fella? If so I know him well...well...by face anyway!!! That swine got a free ticket to see Macca in the cavern a few years ago!!!!!

Ask him if he has any background information on official release dates for `Help` , `Magical Mystery Tour` , `Let it Be` and possibly `Shea Stadium`! I`d ask him myself but he scares me!!??!

You bought something from The Beatles shop? I thought only rich international tourists with no appreciation of the exchange rates could afford to shop there!

The "tubby fella" said towards the end of the year for Help and the rest should follow. Doesn`t scare me but there is something strange about him. He really does reminds me of the man in "The Simpsons" who runs the comic book store.

Won`t C&E add their cut on top of that? There was something in the Sunday Times about them doing that to CDWOW stuff recently. I`ve gone for the safer option of Amazon at £35.99.
