Leather computer chair £53 inc shipping!!

CAPTAINSHADWELL (Competent) posted this on Thursday, 9th January 2003, 16:26

Not quite a dvd bargain I know but we are obviously sat somewhere at a computer. But now we can all sit in comfort. Just go to www.viking-direct.co.uk and in the searcg type in Q21-MARINO. This will bring up a leather office style chair reduced from £180 to £45. But with VAT and so on it comes to £53ish. Hadnt posted before as wasnt sure of the quality. However, it is now assembled and im sat in it and have to say its very comfy and has a tall back which is the best part about it for me - -some support at last.

For £180 retail I dont think id buy one but at £53 its a steal if you are after a comfy chair. Think they may only be on offer whilst in stock so please people give everyone a chance.

Any questions just post.

I got one of these last Summer, and it`s bearing up fantastically well under the strain !

As the Captain says : good back support : your posture will be much improved.

Excellent bargain for those who spend hours in front of the PC :-)

Got one of these for the sprogg last summer and found it to be excellent value for the money.
Be prepared, however for Viking to keep sending you the monthly catalogue to beyond the grave. ;-))

Looks like a great buy, thanks guys. Do they adjust backwards and forwards and/or rock/recline? I`ll probably order one for myself anyway but my wife likes one she can lean back in.

OK, so I cracked and ordered two anyway, one for me and one for my wife, that`s not abusing the system is it Cap`n ?

Many thanks for the heads up,

Nah I think ill let you have 2 -- but no more or there will be a ruckus. No, on a serious note, its a comfy, leather chair with £130 off the marked price so is quite a steal. Just annoying when you cant order anymore cos someone else has decided to order 5, one for him, and 4 for the lovely bidders on ebay.

And to the above, yes the chair does lean back, quite a buit in fact and at first I thought I was falling off - - I felt like a right tit..

Hope you are all as happy with it as I am............now I better leave you all and check how much ive made on them on ebay

Guys just to check, these chairs are quite robust.
I`m not gonna do anything dodgy on em (chance would be a fine thing) , its just ive had a few computer chairs that go to pieces quite easy.
Regards.

Yep they are quite robust - -more so than all other computer chairs Ive had. Couple of L shaped screwed in clamps holding the seat to the back along with 6 one inch screws holding thearms to teh chairs and so on. Definitely feels sturdy.
