The pledge is definetly not worth buying. It is a decent film but with an ending that p***ed me off so I would say its only worth seeing once.

You two probably wouldn`t know a good film if it bit you in the behind.

Why have u signed up just to above message? you just come out of the blue and sign up specifically just to post the message? Also why do u have to be so judgemental and assume to know me and what movies I like? Attack of the clones was ok, not one of my favourites but ok. I like movies with good characters, good acting and a good plot.

Back Off dicanio, He was only defending a film that many people have yet to see. I thought it was a great movie and hope people would not be put off seeing it by your opinion. Sean Penn is a very good director and Jack Nicholson acting is faultless. As for the ending, what did you want, a "Hollywood" one? Let intelligent people make up their own minds.

U can bloody p*** off too I dont need all this. That guy signed up to dvd reviewer specifically to attack me:
"You two probably wouldn`t know a good film if it bit you in the behind."
I am an avid film fan and watch movies of all types and being a film student, I found that remark really offensive and then people like you stick up for him.
"Let intelligent people make up their own minds." are you trying to say that im not intelligent?
I didnt say it was a bad movie did I? I just said that its not worth owning.
AND I was merely expressing my own opinion hoping that it would be helpful.
I think Chris Cox`s review best sums up what im saying. Decent movie but rent it rather than buy
If like you say people can make up their own minds once they have seen the movie, what would be the bloody point of this site (a dvd REVIEW site)? What would be the point of reviews at all.
If you want to express your own views on the movie, no one is stopping you but dont attack me and dont stick up for a-holes.

Are you saying people should not sign up to post on this forum if they do not agree with you?
