I Have the 7200 with mission fs2 av`s in a room which is 14 feet by 11 feet outstanding. These speakers go well with the wife as they are small and discret.

Advice Needed As New DVD Required

Hi all I need to buy a new machine and have been considering buying either a Panasonic RA71 or a Pioneer 646A has anyone any info/comments on these machines.

I am willing to spend upto £500 on a good DVD

I`ve had 3 sony`s, 1 Kv28FX20 and 2 KV32FX20 They all suferd from
Geometry problems and sony themselves told my retailer that they only
make one good one in fifty,but they get away with most of them. So
now my retailer will not guarantee this anymore so i`ve got to play
the £1000 lucky dip with one more chance, will it be better or
worse?????
Sony sort yourselves out.
Any one else had this problem

I too have not had any probs with the quality of my Scan. However through reading the many posts on the Scan I now know a lot more about this player which I would not have picked up with out people posting.

I do believe that we should try and help anyone who is experience any difficulties regardles of brand and dont waste our time bitching.

What kind of TV`s are you guys using? I have not seen any picture Probs since I got my Scan Nov last year.

I did have a prob with entering the secret menu for some reason one day It would not work dont ask me why. Upgrade to 2.23 seemed to fix prob and let me back in but prob any firmware upgrade would have done the job.

Picture quality is still excellent on all DVD`s

I was wondering what the forum thinks on lens cleaners i.e. which is best / worst and are they really necessary etc.

1. You should know your hardware inside.
Please buttons " OPEN - SETUP - STOP - STEP - MENU "
If ADV TV encoder inside , appears ADV717X. => select and download ADV7172/0 code.
If CS4955 TV encoder inside, appears CS4955 or none of device name osd. => select and download CS4955.
If you download wrong code to your system, system may me killed and can not be recovered.
