I`m using Sony 32FX60 100Hz D+ 16:9 TV. Also I`m using ATI AllInWonder 128/32 PC TV Card, this card support zooming so you can focus on some part of picture and compare it FW by FW.

FW 2.27 (Scan/Grundig 130) - MusicMatch mp3 problem fixed

Good news:
-MusicMatch MP3 skiping is solved in 2.27
-SVCD is working (from 2.26)
-NTSC -> PAL and PAL->NTSCS and 16:9 -> 4:3 conversion working again (was broken in 2.26)

Wait for 2.27, will be available next week. SVCD is fixed there and picture looks better (vs. 2.23). I`m testing it right now in my Grundig GDV-130.

Hi all, just received FW 2.27 for grundig gdv-130 (should fit Scan 2000) from Korea. Picture problem fixed. This firmware is GREAT. Get it on http://www.cable.cz/gdv/

Warning !! After some testing I have to say that 2.26 have broken Picture when Player is doing norm or resolition reencoding (PAL->NTSC or 16:9 -> 4:3 LB, etc.)

Don`t use it if you don`t have 16:9 Multi norm TV !!!!!

PS: I`m expecting that 2.26 from Scan will have same bug.

FW 2.26 - SVCD BACK again, new BUG found (Scan 2000 + Grundig GDV130 + Tytelstar DVD 2000)

I flashed 2.26 for Tytelstar DVD2000 and SVCD support is BACK !!!! Also my old CDs that contains 1000+ non MP3 files no more lock player.


!!! Where is official 2.26 for Scan or Grundig to have PAL support !!!!!

Too complicated .. You can translate it online .. !!! No Copy&Paste:

On altavista homepage use "translate" and swith to "WebSite" and type "http://www.tytelstar.com/kor/index.jsp" than select Koren to english and hit translate.

Here is some changelog (translated by Altavista from Korean)
Only problem is that FW is not downloadable now (HTTP error 404) hope they will fix it.

Yes, I had not problem with Flash, but with output encoder chip. Player was totaly dead. FW I used to flash was compatible only with CSxxxx chip and not ADVxxxx.

I had same problem with my Grundig GDV-130, I downgraded and player was dead. Problem was that old FW was not compatible with ADV1772 chip. I used external programer to put new FW back (2.23 for Scan) and player is working again :-)) You need to open player and put Amic29040 out of socket.

Conclusion: !!! NEVER DOWNGRADE YOUR PLAYER UNDER SHIPED FW VERSION !!!

It`s still broken. Should be fixed in 2.19, but was not. I have mailed to tytelstar to fix SVCD .. hope they will do it.

Grundig GDV-130 (? Scan 2000?) And firmware for tytelstar DVD-2000

Hi all,

I have now firmware in my GDV-130 it`s made for tytelstar DVD-2000 (Korean made DVD with full korean support www.tytelstar.com). It`s working and there is no MP3 skiping as in 2.07 i had. And firmware version is 2.21 !!!

Details from korean pages
- Better picture
- No PAL support !!! (NTSC/MULTI only)

It`s working great without any problems (Region patch and MV patch is OK)
