Well, a Scan/Manhattan/Daewoo clone is being sold in Portugal under the name of EMERSON EMD-2100 (Emerson Radio Co., US based), and lots of people is now using Scan software to upgraden with success. Working fine!

Just try SETUP/STEP/TITLE/PREV to remove macrovision.
