RE: SelectDvds

I had given up on the 2 DVD`s I ordered from SelectDVDs pre Christmas but for some reason tried them on the telephone today. When the phone was answered by Jon I was completely taken by surprise. This bunch have never responded to any of the hundreds of emails, faxes and telephone calls I have made to them. Jon cooly told me that the items were in stock and would be delivered in about 5 days! Aye Right!

When did this bunch change their address to Jersey? Is he any relation to the auction Cowboy who was on Watchdog the other night?

One possible way to force some action would be to ensure that in every message complaining about SelectDVDs bad service posted on this forum the name SelectDVDs be included in the body of the message alongside terms such as bad service, non delivery, problems, complaints, cowboys, thieves, etc. (If you have had anything like the experience I have had you will no doubt be able to add some suitable adjectives of your own)

If you have an unresolved issue with this bunch then just ensure that you keep this thread going and SelectDVDs name at the very top of the Retailer Reviews Section.

In this way anyone who does a search using the name SelectDVDs will find these reviews and hopefully, this site. You will then be helping prospective customers form the correct opinion of SelectDVDs

Just make sure the spelling is as theirs.

RE: SelectDvds

Perhaps Selectdvds customer services would like to comment? I have emailled them pointing out this site.

RE: SelectDvds

I agree with the previous post. STAY AWAY FROM SELECT DVDS.
My experience is almost identical to the previous poster.
Placed order on the 13th December.
SelectDvds took payment and did not deliver.
Tried emailing and telephoning but to no avail.
I have passed on the details to Wolverhampton Trading Standards as this appears to be a scam whereby they appear attractive on price and keep the money without delivering the goods. The amount of cash involved is relatively small thereby making it easy to get away with.
This is a cowboy operation.

0/10 on all counts
