Bit of a newbie on this and am thinking of buying the Ellion. I am gradually understanding the jargon but can I ask - if I hook it up to Sky+ by Scart can I record movies broadcast in 5.1 and then play it back through my 5.1 system?

Lo and behold, my shave kit landed this morning. Its a bottle of men-u shave creme and face lift (moisturiser). Just did a search and they are coming up at £9 each online. Pretty chuffed as the magazine gets flicked through and thrown nowadays.

The voucher for the shave kit was for two samples of Clinique - if you go to your local counter and just ask you will get them anyway (face scrub and post shave healer). They were tiny samples and only worth it if you are passing.
The kit that comes free as part of the offer comes in the post. I was told that they are currently out of stock but will be getting new stock in soon.

This is probably a stupid question, but I`ve only just started thinking about getting one of these. Why would you want it multi-region? Are you talikng about purely for playback, or is there a reason regarding burning?
If I bought this would I be able to use the burned DVDs in a normal DVD system?
