Hi Guys and Girls below is a small list of films I have for trade. The reasons for trade are either:
1, not my type of film
2, upgraded to dts sound
3, have managed to aquire 2 copies

All Disks are R2 unless stated, cases, disks and inlays are excellant condition. I wont describe as mint as they have all been watched at least once. These are still showing in my collection below if you want to look at the specs of the disks

AI 2 disk
The Time machine Guy pearce version
Poodle Springs, stars james Caan a detective story set in the early 60`s
Twister, no this is not the dts version
The Hunt for red October
The Rock (flipper)
Road to Predition

Highlander Directors cut THX remastered Region 1

My wants, well tempt me (please check my collection first). I like romantic comedies. I am also interested in any DTS films and I am happy to add cash or do two of mine for one of yours with in reason.

RE: Recommend a new motor

well I know what you mean about parts dropping off, after all doesnt ford stand for Fix Or Repair Daily? However the Focus is an excellant car but not in the same league as a Golf any mk or the new seat Leon which is GTi quick for 1.4s money.

RE: Changing Energy Supplier

switching is dead easy if you are on a transferable tarrif. If you are on say a heatwise tarrif you cant change suppliers. also the savings only tend to be worth the effort for paying by DD.
Re the gas supply. With new houses they tend to be known as plot numbers for supply purposes when instaled if you can find your meter number, this is usually on a plate on the side of the gas meter. Transco will then be able to bill you for it. With New houses when this happens arrears can be paid back over time and with no interest. I used to work for Eastern Energy now Texas utilities. I sold new supply contracts. No I wasnt one of the door to door people

Aye I am with you there. Like to add, Police Patrol cars with nothing better to do than sit at the speedlimit daring people to overtake. This soon causes a tailback.

RE: Glastonbury and EBay a new low

posted on the dvd forums by lorne t

http://members.ebay.co.uk/aboutme/deskstarblack/

seems they had my idea and have been buying up ebay tickets for low life scum and have no intention of paying for them hence costing the seller money with listing fees and final seller fees

ha ha ha ha and to all you ebay`er who use this site lurking for the bargain and have probably purchased ebay tickets to make a pofit....

MAY YOU ROT IN HELL

RE: Free Fox DVD

for ALL the people who didnt get their free fox DVD and not the low life pond life who choose to order them for the mum, gran. brother etc. email

xof[at]ku.oc.thgiserof and explain you are still waiting

the original ad for this was listed in a flyer included with Ice age

they will get back to you saying it was due to high demand etc and you will get a dvd with in a few weeks

they did this I think to stop fake email addresses and people that commit fraud for the sake of a few quid

hope this helps

Glastonbury and EBay a new low

Well I wanted to go to Glastonbury this year and now sold out. Why you ask well because so many Ebay low lifes have bought up all the tickets to make a profit on them! Sold out with in 24 hours and listings on Ebay already amount to 247 and those are just listings most are selling at least 2 tickets and some money grabbing insects are selling over 30! this is the only hope for music lovers.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2168171836&category=16067

If this is true I would be tempted to buy all the tickets and tell the sellers to go swing for their money. Let them chase me in court I am sure the Official Glastonbury Organisers would be more than willing to support me in court! Your views people!

RE: £2 off on many titles at splash, many titles at £4.66-£6!!!

Plus
added to their £7.99 range we have a few decent films such as:

RE: Free Fox DVD`S - Did You Receive Yours?

I ordered The Full Monty in November and hadnt heard anything by mid feb so I emailed them: xof[at].ku.oc.thgiserof They did reply and explained it was a data collection error. If I enclosed my address and the DVD I had ordered I would recieve it. Sure enough I got another email from a company employee saying it was despatched and recieved the DVD end of last week. So there is still hope out there

RE: Band Of Brothers for £15

ordered mine on the 20th had the terms leaflet, had the payment protection leaflet. Still no DVD. Searched the garden. However I live on a farm and where on earth would the have hidden it

RE: ....Terminator 2 Ultimate 2disc £6.49

Basic Instinct arrived this morning, and have to agree a 7 week plus wait is not worth the hassle. I wont be using these guys again. If only all retailers were like choices direct. At least if they are out of stock they make you aware and even some times give you a discount voucher to compansate.

RE: 1 WEEK ONLY 24 season 1 at choices £24.99 free P&P!!! plus other box sets

My copy arrived this morning and it was the repressed version (ie the V2 code on disks 5 and 6). This deal has been posted on three different DVD bargain forums to my knowledge. I guess they have experienced over demand for the item. They are good though and would imagine that you will all recieve your DVD`s with in a short period of time. Now hopefully if Band of Brothers turns up aswell I shall stay off the net for a while as its getting bad for my credit card!

1 WEEK ONLY 24 season 1 at choices £24.99 free P&P!!! plus other box sets

Again my favourite suppliers have come up trumps.
plus the west wing cheap and coldfeet all cheap

http://www.choicesdirect.co.uk

do a search in product box as no direct link.

As we all know choices are fast and if this is a miss price they honour them.

RE: Band Of Brothers for £15

well I ordered online on saturday night when this thread was posted on the foorums. I thought because of the sheer volume of people who have gone for this offer I would check my order tonight. I had it confirmed at £15 and was told should have them with in a week. So fingers crossed. Have to ask yourself though I wonder how many of these will turn up on Ebay at "a bargin price"

RE: Heat - Pacino and De Niro (R2) £4.87

same here posted today. Told ya they are tops :-) far far better than play cdwow etc. and forget about streetsonline and DVDsoon(maybe some time this year possibly)

RE: Heat - Pacino and De Niro (R2) £4.87

I ordered Heat too. I have yet to recieve the delay email. However I know from a past misprice they had (purple rain & risky business @ £3.79 each) they do honor these and the disk(s) will arrive. I didnt post aboout risky Business or purple rain becasue as soon as I ordered them the price went back up to £6 each. They are very fast at spotting their miss prices.

RE: Movies everyone else hates but you LOVE!!!!!!!!

Titanic I really liked it and regret not seeing it on the cinema as thought it would be a load of rubbish. I was so wrong

RE: Movies everyone else loves but you HATE!!!!!!!!

RE: DVD trailer and £5 voucher - London`s delight! everyone elses plight!

Well used the free Five pound voucher from the Sunday times against Dances with wolves and as it was in the buy one get one half price offer I purchased Mean machine and dances with wolves for 19.48 or mean machine for£17.99 and dances with wolves for £1.50. Now to sell the australian copy of DWW on ebay :-). Thank you for the tip on this Hugo

tesco pricing balls up

Ok its Friday morning and no work so been aimlessly surfing DVD online retailers looking for those bargains. Tried Tesco and had a look through their £5.99 range and as they always list the RRP price and then there price I was quite surprised to see DVDs with a RRP of £4.99 being sold by Tesco for £5.99. I know this is a tad sad but thought I would let you know.

www.streetsonline, dodgey 2nd hand DVDs, really slow service

I ordered three DVD`s (Apollo 13, £7.99, Twister £6.99 Scent of a woman £6.99) from there sale on December 28th. All showed as in stock. 1st Question how can sale items be listed and out of stock? Email received all out of stock. I waited about one week later I received an email saying Apollo 13 had been sent. and it arrived not sealed and looked like it had been play, however it was good condition so let it slide. A few days later email received saying Twister had been sent. This arrived sealed. Still no scent of a woman. Checked on their site and back up to full price of £14.99 and showing in stock. Rang them helpful but distant. Emailed them, no reply. Finally Scent of a woman arrived yesterday morning unsealed with the chapter card so dog-eared and torn. It was certainly 2nd hand. Rang them again and told to send back, still no stock, so taken over a month and still waiting NOT IMPRESSED. Any one else had bad experience with these cowboys?

RE: Why don`t they release these DVD`s

three other noted films which seem to be taking a while to be realised are:

The Breakfast club out on region 1 but not 2 yet
Schiendlers list only on dodgy murky region 0 import (apologise for spelling)
The Lion King only on VCD

This is to my knowledge and if any one knows different I would love to here
